I spend, on average, around 45 seconds each day trying to locate matching (or as close to as possible) pairs of socks from my sock drawer. That equates to 5 minutes and 15 seconds a week, or 4 and a half hours a year, just locating socks. I hate the damn things.
Solution: from now on, apart from the occasional novelty pair I may get for Christmas, I'm only buying matching black socks!

ReplyDeleteI have never in my life bought a pair of white socks, so where do they come from. Why would I ever buy white socks, I wear black trainers or black shoes, with either jeans or black trousers. I can look into my sock drawer and see hundreds of pairs of socks, then when I come to the drawer the next day and all that's in there is a manky pair of holey-socks and a pair of white socks!
the answer to your question is to pair them up when you have completed the wash cycle, you could use a tagger to attach them together so they don't get lost.
